Lunar Credits are shared by AI Chat and AI actions in connected modules, including document questions. Managed Voice requires paid access and uses the same Lunar Credits. Non-AI actions do not consume credits.

What is free?

Non-AI modules and a limited AI preview for AI-powered features.

How do Pro and Max differ?

Max also includes Module Creator BETA. Pro includes 120 weekly Lunar Credits and Max includes 500. Annual plans also refresh credits weekly without rollover.

Can I use my own AI API keys?

Max and Lifetime support personal API keys for AI Chat, connected actions, documents, Voice, Module Creator and AI vocabulary generation. Keys stay in this Mac’s Keychain and requests go directly to your selected provider. Voice 1 and Voice 3 require an OpenAI key; Voice 2 requires an xAI key. Personal-key requests use no Lunar Credits and never fall back to managed billing after a failure. Without a matching enabled key, managed AI uses Lunar Credits. X and flight-tracking credentials remain separate.

What happens when credits run out?

Pro and Max managed AI pauses until the next weekly refresh. Free and Lifetime grants do not refill. Max and Lifetime users can continue supported workflows with their own keys. Credit top-ups are not yet available. Non-AI functions keep working.

Is voice available?

Dictation is available on every plan. Voice mode requires paid access and either sufficient managed Lunar Credits or a compatible personal key on Max or Lifetime. Personal-key voice is billed by your provider.

Are documents sent automatically?

No. Importing only copies files locally. Before an AI review or PDF filling request, you approve the recipient, extracted text, and selected personal facts. Form filling is off by default and preserves the original.

Where can I learn about each module?

Open the Documentation tab in Settings for each module's reference. Replay the desktop tour in General settings, or use module search to open a tool even when it is hidden.

What does Lifetime include?

Permanent access to the current Max app features and 2,000 non-expiring starter credits, with no weekly refill. Purchase verification requires an internet connection. Provider charges, future separately sold services, and third-party Store modules are excluded. An existing subscription is not automatically cancelled.
